Come experience the rich
history and landscapes unique to this
region. Millions of years ago, what is now Western Canada, was covered by an inland sea and tropical vegetation.
Dinosaurs roamed freely across this vast area. Due to wind and water erosion, their bones have been discovered throughout the Canadian Badlands from Eastend, Saskatchewan, to Tumbler Ridge, BC and from the Crowsnest Pass to Fort McMurray. Dinosaur Provincial Park, Royal Tyrrell Museum, Calgary Zoo, and Royal Alberta Museum are just four of the many attractions with interactive displays and artifacts bringing dinosaurs back to life for kids of all ages, from 2 to 102.
